The 'number of articles' count does not refresh automatically as the number of pages changes. My search seems to indicate the cause is due to the wiki software caching the Main Page and displaying the cached page until there is an edit of the page forcing it to display the new version.

The work around is to append '?action=purge' to the main URL request www.pclinuxoshelp.com/index.php/Main_Page?action=purge. This will have to be run manually until a solution emerges.

May be caching of pages be disabled on this wiki altogether?
